I started this Drawing one day, when I was at Burger King. Firstly, I drawed just the head of my Darkelven-character Akilah. Then i added the "Nachtkreatur" or in english "Nightcreature".
I dreamed one night of these creatures, with their bearlike looking and their strange eyes. Because I liked the idea of this creatures so much, I put them into my world of the darkelves.
In this world the nightcreatures are partly magical creatures. It is said, that they are able to look with their golden eyes, between the worlds of dreaming and death. And they know about the past, present and future of each person, who crosses their way.
They sleep at day and cover their eyes against the sun and went out at the darkest nights. That's why they are called "Nachtkreaturen" ore "Nightcreatures".
They don't speak, and behave more like a common bear. But it seems obvious, that they know lots more of things, which go round in the world.

mir fällt gerade auf, daß die tätowierungen sehr maorimäßig aussehen ^^
deine bleistiftarbeiten finde ich sowieso immer toll, sie sehen so schön weich aus. vor allem die vögel, die, je weiter sie sich entfernen, immer unschärfer werden. sehr schick!

Witzigerweise kommt grad im Fernsehen was über Captain James Cook, der auch Neuseeland entdeckt hatte.
Also ich hätte am ehesten am Wochenende Zeit oder an einem Tag unter der Woche. Hab wieder einen Illustrationsjob und muss am Tag bis Nachmittag arbeiten.
Das Tattoo sieht wunderbar aus. Und die Übergänge von Dunkel in Hell und das Fließen der Übergänge. Klasse!
Vielen Dank. Ja, ich war bislang immer sehr skeptisch gegenüber dem Papierwischer, weil man viele ätzende Sachen mit Wischen anstellen kann. Aber ich bin selbst von den Verläufen ganz begeistert.
